Public Service Announcement: Be nice to the huge pregnant lady!

Alright, I'll be the first to admit that I'm a big fat pregnant lady. I'm 8 months along and wish this baby would come any day. But just because I'm huge doesn't mean I like hearing it. So this post is just to inform you of things that have been said to me in the last week that shouldn't be repeated to any other pregnant woman.
1. Walking down the hall at church a lady says, "Wow, Stephanie, you're as big as a house!"
2. "How much longer do you have?" -friend
"About 5 weeks." -me
"Really! (with shocked face) You're so big I thought you'd be due sooner!"-friend
3. "How you holding up?" -friend at Caden's school
"As good as can be." -me
"That can't be too good since you're so big." -friend
4. "It's so hot out here! I know it's worse for you being pregnant. You look horrible."
5. "When are you due?" -nurse at eye doctor appointment
"November 7th." -me
(shocked sour apple face, then stares at my stomach) "Are you sure they have your due date right?" -nurse

Jillian and Madelyn go to the farm!

Jillian's preschool class went on a field trip to a dairy farm this week. On the way there I said, "Jillian are you excited to go to the farm?" She said, "Yes!" I asked Maddie the same question and she said, "Yeah farm, e-i-e-i-o!" It was so cute. Then when we got there they hurried us back because a baby cow had just been born. We got to see the new baby getting cleaned up and then the mom helped it to stand up. It was so neat to watch a newborn calf taking its' first steps with mom's help.

Then they took us to an area where they keep all the babies who had been born in the last 5 weeks. The girls got to pet them and feed them with their bottles. Jillian pet a few then found one cow who she said she loved and pet it and talked to it for 20 minutes straight. She was so cute just sitting there loving the baby. Maddie had a blast petting all the cows and fed as many as would let her. Jillian wasn't interested in feeding the cows. She said the bottles were dirty and she didn't want to get her hands yucky.

When we were walking to see where they milked the cows we saw an adult cow standing by the fence just Mooing over and over. It was really loud and kind of sounded like it was bellowing. Maddie climbed the fence and looked at the cow. She pointed to it and said, "Mommy, cow singing! Silly cow!" She cracks me up!

Then the girls got to watch the cows hooked up to the milking machines and learned about the process of making milk. Then they brought out snack for the kids (cheese, chocolate milk, capri suns and water). It was such a fun day and the girls learned so much.
