This Valentine's Day weekend was like a dream! We've been married for 10 1/2 years and this was the best of all Valentine's days. Bryan took off work on Friday and my sister, Sara, came and picked up the kids. She took them to my parents for the weekend and Bryan and I went off to San Francisco.

We went to dinner at a restaurant that overlooked downtown San Francisco and it was amazing. The view was awesome, the food was great and it was so fun to not have to cut up anyone else's dinner!
After dinner we went over to the Orpheum Theater to watch Wicked. It was INCREDIBLE! I can't even tell you how much I loved it. The music blew me away and there were some really hilarious parts. I highly recommend seeing it if you can. (By the way Heidi, this was much better than the last time we saw a musical in San Francisco. I didn't have to put up with a crazy old date annoying me the whole time. Then again we did get to see Phantom for free though!)
After Wicked we went to our hotel. Bryan surprised me by booking the night at my dream hotel. This place looks like a castle and I've always wanted to stay there. It was awesome! We woke up and had room service, a massage at the spa and just relaxed all day.
After the hotel we went to an early dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. The food was delicous! Then we went back home and finished off the night by chaperoning the YM/YW stake dance. That wasn't so much fun, but we laughed our heads off at the hilarious dancing and outfits. I swear it's been forever since I went to a church dance, but the kids are still the same. **Check out my sister Sara's blog for pictures of the kids from their fun weekend away.

Wow, Bryan is leaving the rest of us husbands in the dust. It is awesome that you guys were able to do that together. Candi and I even relish the time we have to watch 24 or the office or something without the kids. It is hard to find time alone, especially when I work 80 hours a week and make 9.50 an hour. It looks like you guys had fun. Hope everything is going well. Tell Bryan Hey for me. BJ
That does sound like a Valentine's Day dream!! I'm oh so jealous!! I really want to see Wicked, I've only heard good things about it! And I still have never eaten at The Cheesecake Factory, we even have one in So. SLC. One day we'll get there!! I can't believe you've been married for 10 1/2 years:) That was a well deserved weekend!!!
Your weekend sounds fine and dandy but I had 5 Valentine's this year! Haha! I only wish Todd had 1/100th of the romanticism that Bryan has! Lucky you!!!
You are (and always has been) the luckiest one of the bunch Steph!! I am not one bit amazed at what Bryan does for you, and you for him. SO MUCH FUN. I'm very envious as I know everyone who reads this will be!! But, then again, you deserve it all!!
Wow! What a great Valentine's Day! I am going to just happen to leave your blog open on the computer tonight! You guys look fabulous in your picture. I want to see Wicked to much! For some reason good old Lexington isn't on the tour list!
Wow, Bryan. If you ever want to leave Steph, I may be available.
JUST JOKING!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love to go to a church dance with Steve. That would be hillarious. Was Bryan doing the "deacon shuffle"?
Love Wicked! I'm sad I miss Phantom. But do you remember The Refuge with Old Guy? We're you there?
How great to be without the kids for a weekend. You are are still the cutest couple. I love that pictures of you two. Bryan and Stephanie-still going strong (and we thought they'd never make it)JUST KIDDING AGAIN!
I was totally thinking of Old Guy when you were talking about the restaurant that overlooked the city. What a weirdo!
What a great weekend. Sean would totally do that for me. . . if I reminded him, and if I did the booking, and mapped out a route there, and picked out the tickets, and basically did everything. He's so spontaneous!
I can't believe it's been over 10 years for you guys!
