So Jillian was coloring the other day and using markers. When she was cleaning up she couldn't find the blue marker. She had the blue cap, but no marker. We looked everywhere and couldn't find it. I figured Maddie probably took it and threw it in the garbage. Well, I had just cut up raw chicken and threw the fatty parts in the trash so I wasn't about to search through it. The next day I put Maddie in her high chair with some breakfast and walked away. I came back a few minutes later and figured out where the blue marker was. Maddie must have stuck it in the high chair cushion and found it. Isn't she a beautiful artist?

I don't think a family is truly a family without a 'pen' incident. At least it will wash off and is not on the walls or appliances or computer. . .
What a cute little artist!! She's quite the hide-and-seeker.. Lilly would love her...she keeps going into our office and finding pens too. She'll get emma to go in with her and somehow they BOTH manage to come out covered in pen marks clear from their toes to their head (the NON WASHABLE writing pens!!) Needless to say, they no longer know where they are. The funny thing is, Emma tried to tell us, "Lilly did it, I didn't want her to, but she did it." I have to smile at her trying to already push the blame on her younger sister. Aren't kids fun?
That is so funny. I am glad that my kids are not the only ones that draw on themselves.
how funny! Good thing it wasn't a Sharpie!
Love these pictures! They will make great scrapbook pages! I have similar pictures of marker all over my walls upstairs. And I mean ALL OVER. We still haven't gotten around to painting over it...
